Business: Railroad Allocations
In this month's Service Search column we will start taking an in-depth
look at the new Industrial/Business Pool. We will start with the first
of four categories into which Industrial/Business Pool has been condensed:
the LR or Railroad allocations. These frequencies are currently being licensed
by the Federal Communications Commission. Scanner listeners should be listening
for newly allocated splinter channels (VHF 7.5 kHz/UHF 6.25 kHz) to become
active in their areas.
